Crazy Taxi begins on the scenic streets of a city modeled after San Francisco. Head out and find customers and get them to their destinations as quickly as possible. Since this was originally an arcade game, payoffs are made in extra game time. The good news is that you can be pretty much as reckless as you want because your Crazy Taxi will more or less bounce off of obstacles. The bad news is that you might spin out doing this, which will slow you down.
One of the funniest parts of Crazy Taxi is that your customers will insult your driving as you go along and they are especially rude when you don't get them where they are going on time. Luckily, there is a big green arrow pointing you toward your destination, so you won't need to stop to ask directions. The cool thing is that as you get to know the city, you will eventually discover shortcuts that are even quicker.
